A flamenco festival, considered by critics and artists to be one of the most important of those held throughout Spain, the summer in Lebrija has been marked for fifty-nine years now by the sound of flamenco thanks to its veteran festival, the Caracolá lebrijana. Faithful to the spirit of those who contributed to its birth and survival throughout the ages, our festival highlights the value of a musical legacy with deep roots that continues to grow with the oxygen breathed into it by the new creators of singing, guitar playing and dancing.
